From the Dec 16th membership meeting

 

Call to order, Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance by Jeff Reese

Secretary’s report, Treasurer’s report presented and accepted by membership.

           

Next month’s members meetings will be on Monday the 27th Banquet at 6pm at Western Sizzlin Steak House.  

Old Business; We were presented quotes for materials and installation of a new electronic front gate with a key pad entry. We also discussed having VEC install a security light. The cable and parking lines for the pistol range parking lot is completed.

New Business; We discussed reinforcing the policy on rapid fire (FRT) and bump stock weapons, which includes prohibiting any trigger modifications. The next Rimfire Shoot will be on Jan 4th at 8am. The next Gopher Shoot will be on Feb 8th (2nd Sat) at 8am cost is $15 per person. (Please bring $5’s and $1’s)

Club officers have been elected this year, Pres: Greg Brolin, V. Pres: Andrew Dubman, Treas: Tom Hughes, Sec: Craig Wiseman and S.O.A.: Chad Philpot.

Renewals are now being accepted and please remember that all renewals are to be received or post marked by Dec 31.  EVERYONE MUST FILL OUT A RENEWAL FORM!!! We need these for our records, even if you are not required to pay dues.

SAFETY AND RULES COMPLIANCE

Cross shooting on the rifle rage is strictly prohibited!!!  If you witness anyone cross firing, please address this with them immediately and contact the Board members if there is any continued cross shooting or pushback by the member.

From the Oct 21st membership meeting

Call to order, Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance by Jeff Reese

Secretary Report, Treasurer’s report presented and accepted by membership.

Next month’s members meetings will be on Monday the 18th at 7pm

Old Business; Secure access gate is being researched and awaiting additional estimates. The pond will be restocked this year with more details to come. Back pistol range access was approved by the board and members.  A new road access will be made and parking for 3 vehicles made. 1 will be for handicap use. The estimate did not include a culvert that may be needed once the road work starts.  The additional cost was also approved if needed.  The total around $13k.  Included in this was a end to additional spending for this year. New Business; We will be making an annual budget and discussing future improvements in the next few meetings.  Any ideas or suggestions to improving the club are encouraged to be shared with the board for discussion. All committee chairmen are to have a budget and proposed improvements for next year read for the board to review at the Nov meeting.

Club officers will be elected this year, anyone interested in being an office, please contact David Fruendt at 423 617 6625 to be placed on the ballot.  All candidates will present themselves to the members at the Nov meeting, the votes will be made at the Dec meeting.
