Gopher Shoot Rules

Entrance Fee: $20

1. 1. $5 goes to the Club
   2. $15 distributed to winning shooters
2. Rifle:
   1. Shooters Choice: Centerfire or Rimfire
   2. Caliber 6.5mm or smaller
   3. Rifle and scope must 14 lbs. or lighter
3. Sights:
   1. Shooters Choice scope or open sights
4. Muzzle Devices
   1. Suppressors allowed
   2. Muzzle breaks allowed
5. Distance:
   1. 100 yards
      1. up to 3 sighters
      2. Highest score 44
   2. 150 yards
      1. Up to 3 sighters
      2. Highest score 44
   3. 200 yards
      1. 5 shots best 4 score
      2. Highest score 44
   4. Shooting Position: Shooter Choice, bench, prone, or standing
   5. Rifle Support:
      1. Front Bag or Bipod Only No adjustable rests
         1. Front Bag and Bipod width limited to 12” max
      2. No rear rifle support other than shooter
         1. No rear bags, mono pod, or other rear rifle support other than shooters hand, arm, or other body part
      3. Shooter over the age of 75 are allowed to shoot with rear bag
   6. Scoring:
      1. For 11, 10, or 8 points break the line completely for score
      2. For 5 points the shot must be completely inside the outer line
   7. Winning Shooters:
      1. Best Possible Score 132 highest score wins
      2. In the event of a tie the next lower position will be split between upper position tie
         1. For example: in the event of 12 shooter event and 2 tie for first place, first place will split the 1^st place and the 2nd place award. If in the same scenario 3 shooters tied for 1^st place, they would split 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd place award. The next lowest shooter award would get the 4^th place award
      3. Winner Positions and awards
         1. 1 to 5 entrances
            1. 1^st and 2^nd place pays
               1. 60% and 40%
            2. 6 to 10 entrances
               1. 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place pays
                  1. 50%, 30%, and 20%

• 11 to 15 entrances
  1. 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th place pays
     1. 40%, 25%, 20%, and 15%
  2. 16 entrances and above
     1. 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th place pays
        1. 40%, 25%, 15%, 10%, and 10%
