Gopher Shoot Rules
Entrance Fee: $20
- $5 goes to the Club
- $15 distributed to winning shooters
- Rifle:
- Shooters Choice: Centerfire or Rimfire
- Caliber 6.5mm or smaller
- Rifle and scope must 14 lbs. or lighter
- Sights:
- Shooters Choice scope or open sights
- Muzzle Devices
- Suppressors allowed
- Muzzle breaks allowed
- Distance:
- 100 yards
- up to 3 sighters
- Highest score 44
- 150 yards
- Up to 3 sighters
- Highest score 44
- 200 yards
- 5 shots best 4 score
- Highest score 44
- Shooting Position: Shooter Choice, bench, prone, or standing
- Rifle Support:
- Front Bag or Bipod Only No adjustable rests
- Front Bag and Bipod width limited to 12” max
- No rear rifle support other than shooter
- No rear bags, mono pod, or other rear rifle support other than shooters hand, arm, or other body part
- Shooter over the age of 75 are allowed to shoot with rear bag
- Front Bag or Bipod Only No adjustable rests
- Scoring:
- For 11, 10, or 8 points break the line completely for score
- For 5 points the shot must be completely inside the outer line
- Winning Shooters:
- Best Possible Score 132 highest score wins
- In the event of a tie the next lower position will be split between upper position tie
- For example: in the event of 12 shooter event and 2 tie for first place, first place will split the 1st place and the 2nd place award. If in the same scenario 3 shooters tied for 1st place, they would split 1st 2nd and 3rd place award. The next lowest shooter award would get the 4th place award
